Who are you sold out to?

The Bible says that one cannot serve two masters, which means that we all must make a choice on who or what we are going to put first in our lives. Either we serve Christ or we serve the World. Ask yourself: Who am I serving? If the answer is Jesus, then you are well on your way to an amazing eternity in heaven. Giving your ALL to Christ is the best thing you can do to ensure a spot in heaven. If the answer was “my cell phone” or something else other than Christ, then I urge you to think hard about that decision and ask yourself if that is going to get you to heaven. If it will, then by all means, keep doing you, but if the answer is no, then consider changing your focus. If you don’t know the answer to the question on who you’re giving your all to, then I urge you to read Romans 10:9-13. After you read this scripture, read it again, but out loud and with everything in you then you will have full access to the Kingdom of God!

Staying Awake

I am currently in my 8:50am Chemistry 101 class, & I am tired as heck! I know I’m looking weird trying to keep my eyes open but I found that bringing my laptop and/or eating during the lecture helps me stay awake. If you ever have problems staying awake in class like I do, try keeping yourself busy. Be engaged in the class as well, it’ll help your brain focus more on the material and less on how tired you are. Also, try eating a small snack during the lecture. If these tips don’t work, then I suggest getting to bed earlier so that you are more awake. In college it’s a bit harder to get to sleep before 1am, but it is possible.
